Egalitarianism/Women Theologians/Hermeneutics/Women in Scripture
The Junia Project – serves as a platform for a diverse group of writers to communicate their understanding of egalitarian theology and to share reflections on gender equality. Junia Project also is an awesome resource for those who want to understand better what the Bible has to say about “equality” and women’s roles in the church!
Marg Mowczko is a scholar who blogs on gender equality in the church. Marg takes readers into the original languages of the Bible and helps us understand God’s plan for women.
CBE International – is a nonprofit organization of Christian men and women who believe that the Bible, properly interpreted, teaches the fundamental equality of men and women of all ethnic groups, all economic classes, and all age groups, based on the teachings of Scriptures. Equality/Advocacy for Women
Charlie Olivia blogs on women’s issues inside the church but also in society. She writes about everything from patriarchy to feminism from a Christian perspective.
Sarah Bessey – writes about the intersections of a spirit-filled life: About her own faith and spirituality, about what love looks like for us, the sacredness of an ordinary life after an exhausting evangelical hero complex, mmothering, ecclesiology, theology, women’s issues, social justice, her own struggling journey, politics, and, well, pretty much everything else that you are not supposed to discuss in polite company.
Kelly Ladd Bishop preaches, teaches, writes, speaks, and mentors teens. She writes about egalitarianism and equality inside the church as well as issues of faith and culture.
Eugene Hung blogs about parenting, gender, feminism, race, and culture. Eugene previously worked for Man Up Campaign as an advocate for women’s and girls’ rights.
Jory Micah is a blogger and leader with a mission is to help women shake off the chains of limitation and the shackles of oppression that the Christian Church has wrapped around them in the name of incorrect biblical interpretation and stale religion.
CBE: Voices of Color – This page is a platform for sharing articles about the struggles particularly faced by Christian women of color of all Christian traditions and statuses as they seek to live out biblical gender equality. It serves to encourage and support them; it also promotes among other people an understanding of the issues Christian women of color face in exercising their God-given gifts.
Ashley Easter is a 24-year-old writer, blogger, speaker, and abuse victim advocate. She promotes truth-seeking expeditions, advocates for gender equality, and educate the Church on abuse. She is the founder of The Courage Conference, an event that empowers survivors of abuse to continue to fight for their healing while also educating church leaders on prevention and proper response to abuse.
GRACE, or Godly Response to Abuse in the Christian Environment, seeks to empower the Christian community through education and training to recognize, prevent, and respond to child abuse.
